This course will inform you in more in depth about the links between Nutrition (particularly food intake), depression and anxiety disorders. You will understand better the mechanisms in the brain and the gut that can lead to imbalances and aggravate the former mental health disorders. You will also learn about: -Dietary patterns that have been demonstrated to improve symptoms -Prebiotics and probiotics: how they work and whether they can be beneficial -The role of omega 3: do you need a supplement? -The importance of sleep Through different sections (herein call steps), you will go at your own pace reviewing the evidence and other data around the topic.
